This marks the end of week 6 of Home Learning. You will find Week 7 Home Learning Activities below. Thank you so much for sending in your photos of how you celebrated VE Day. It looks like some of you really got your teeth into it and enjoyed learning about it! It's important that we recognise the lives sacrificed during WW2 and other World Wars and you guys did that, so thank you.
I have been sent a few of your stories already as I write this (Friday afternoon) and I'm so excited to sit and read them! Maybe as a little bed time reading for me, hopefully they aren't too scary and give me nightmares.
If you've missed my face like I've missed yours, there is now a video of me reading a story on Tewin Teacher Tales page (it's where all the class pages are). I've decided to read 'The Land of Stories' and I am loving it so far! It sounds like a dark version of fairytales, so something I think you would all enjoy. Isabella in Year 5 lent it to me when she was in my class last year and its been sat in my drawer since then...thank you Isabella! It's a fab read so far and I am enjoying it like you said I would.
Also a HUGE thank you to those of you who sent in a little picture of yourselves to feature in the video to teachers, you know how to make me cry!
Stay safe (and use suncream! It's going to be a hot week!)
