What's New
Our plans to update our dining furniture are progressing; the PTA and Friends of Tewin are supporting us in raising money for which we are very grateful. It has been on our wishlist for ages to have child-friendly tables and chairs that enhance the eating experience for all our children.

We would like to raise your awareness of a new Government website for comparing school performance.  The website address is www.compare-school-performance.service.gov.uk; select ‘Tewin Cowper CE School’; tables of information are then revealed, showing how well our children achieved in maths and English at the end of Key Stage 2 in July 2016.  If you select the option for comparing the results to other schools, a further table is  produced which compares the Key Stage 2 results with schools that had similar Key Stage 1 results.  In these comparisons, Tewin Cowper is ranked an impressive 11th out of 125 similar schools across the UK.  Our maths results were particularly outstanding as they were well above the national average. It has also been noted at the end of the table that there was no better performing school in the group, within a 75 mile radius.

"This is a GOOD School" OFSTED 2016

We are very pleased with our SATs results for 2016. Please see the attached table for more detail.
