Tewin Cowper is a Voluntary Aided Church of England school, and admissions for Reception through to Year 6 are managed by Hertfordshire County Council. Applications for school places should therefore be made through the local authority.

Appeals

If your child is not allocated a place in the Reception class, parents and carers have the right to appeal the decision to an independent appeals panel. 

Families in this situation will receive a leaflet entitled “Primary: What Can You Do Now?”, which explains the appeals process and how to request and submit an appeal pack.
