This is what a year in our school looks like.

In Reception Class

• I will have a year 4 buddy to help me settle into school and we will do activities with each other throughout the year. 
• I will perform the Nativity to an audience.
• I will get to meet lots of visitors to help me with my learning e.g. the police, fire engine, dental nurses.
• I will go to church and lead the Celebrate Families service. 

In Year 1

• I will sit my phonics screening
• I will take part in the Harvest Festival at St Peter’s Church
• I will participate in the Christmas Concert

In Year 2

• I will participate in a Christmas performance
• I will take part in the Epiphany Service at St Peter's Church
• I will take a trip to the seaside and learn about coastal erosion

In Year 3

• I will perform Maypole Dancing for family and friends.
• I will take part in the Easter service at St Peter's church.
• I will take part in a Christmas production

In Year 4 

• I will sing Christmas Carols for my friends and family. 
• I will learn and practice my times tables.
• I will take part in the Pentecost Service at St Peters Church.

In Year 5

• I will take part in the Christingle service at St Peter's Church.
• I will take part in deep water swimming
• I will take part in BikeAbility.

In Year 6 

• I will sit my SATS
• I will take part in a Year 6 production play
• I will have a leavers assembly
• I will take part in Remembrance Day at St. Peter’s Church
• I will go on a residential trip
