We are extremely fortunate to have a heated outdoor swimming pool in the grounds of our school.

Our pupils have the use of the pool for swimming lessons in the second half of the summer term, ending with a fun swim for the younger ones and an exciting Inter-House Swimming Gala for Key Stage 2 children.

The pool is maintained by our parent-run Swimming Pool Committee. The committee organises a weekend BBQ for families of Tewin Cowper and open the pool throughout the Summer for families to use. The Committee is always looking for new helpers to support with organisation and swimming pool Rotas. Without the help of such dedicated parents, we would not be able to have a swimming pool!

*We recruit lifeguards in the summer months to support the opening of the pool for school families and Tewin residents. If you are interested and qualified as a lifeguard, please email admin@tewincowper.herts.sch.uk and we will send you an application form.*
