Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
Tewin Cowper Primary is fully committed to providing an inclusive education for all children. We have a culture of high expectations and children with Special Educational Needs or Disabilities (SEND) are given equal opportunities to succeed and engage in all activities alongside their peers.
Mrs Stewart is the school SEND Co-ordinator for Tewin Cowper Primary School and oversees the provision and progression of all children with SEND. Maximum progress and development is achieved when all three parties involved (school, parents and children) work together.
Our SENDCo can be reached at senco@tewincowper.herts.sch.uk
For full details of our provision, please view our Special Educational Needs Policy, based on the 2015 SEND Code of Practice.
For further information about support available within Hertfordshire for children and young people aged 0-25 with special educational needs or disabilities (SEND) and their families, please read Hertfordshire’s Local Offer.
