Eco Council

At Tewin Cowper CofE Primary School, we are committed to creating a greener, more sustainable school and encouraging our pupils to become responsible citizens who care for the environment.
Our Eco Council plays an important role in helping us achieve this ambition. The council consists of two democratically elected pupils from each class, who meet regularly with our Eco Coordinator, Mr Seery, to discuss environmental issues, share ideas and plan initiatives to make our school more eco-friendly.
Our Eco Council representatives also report back to their classes, ensuring that every pupil has a voice and an opportunity to contribute to our environmental goals.
We are proudly working towards achieving the Eco-Schools Green Flag Award in 2027. Through pupil leadership, practical environmental projects and a whole-school commitment to sustainability, we aim to make a positive difference to our school, our local community and the wider world.
Remember, from the smallest of seeds, grows the greatest of trees!
