Small School Big Dreams

School Council

Tewin Cowper has an active School Council which works hard to represent the views of the pupils throughout the school. The school is keen to ensure that pupils’ opinions are listened to and acted upon wherever possible.

The School Council is an elected body of pupils, with two class representatives from Years 2-6. They meet with Mrs Will every fortnight for School Council Meetings and the headteacher on a regular basis to provide feedback from meetings.

The School Council also helps to organise charity and fund-raising activities throughout the year.

The School Council have been working on a couple of projects this term including fundraising for 2 charities, rebranding the free reader libraries and writing a whole school prayer.

Thank you to everyone who wore purple/non-uniform on Tuesday 19th November. We raised £84.30 for HertsPrems and £84.30 for Grief Encounter. Both charities have given invaluable support to some of our children and their family. Thank you for your support!
