I have been part of the Tewin school community since 2009. As a student teacher, studying for my BEd at the University of Hertfordshire, I knew that Tewin was where I wanted to pursue my teaching career. My eldest daughter started at Tewin with me, I started out in Reception and developed a passion for everything Early Years! I quickly became the EY lead and also the school SENCO, completed the NASENCO award. I moved through the Key Stages and took on the role of Assistant Head with responsibility for Inclusion. When my second daughter started nursery school I volunteered as a Governor. I loved this varied role and the insight into her education that I may not have had. I am currently nearing the end of my NPQH which has been a fantastic learning experience in supporting my new role of Headteacher at Tewin.
