I am a retired architect who specialised in the education and health care sectors and in particular the detailing of buildings so they are fit for purpose and easily maintained. I have been involved with the design and delivery of projects at nursery, primary and secondary schools and further and higher stages of education.
I moved onto Lower Green in Tewin, with my wife just after my retirement in 2023. For many years, I was a parent governor at a single form entry primary school in St Albans attended by my two children and was on both the premises and finance committees. I know and understand the role of a critical friend to a school and bring this experience to the role of governor. I value the opportunity to work with staff and parents and to continue to learn more about the culture and ethos of the school.
