Claudia is senior educationalist working at the RCP having recently moved from mainstream secondary education following 11 years of teaching and school leadership. She completed a degree in Secondary Science education with qualified teacher status in 2012. As a previous Senior Leader, Head of Science and SENCo she has significant experience in educational leadership at all levels as well as staff management and supporting and training new teachers. She has worked to build high quality curriculums for both students and for the purposes of staff development, has experience in engagement with governance; developing and implementing strategy; managing change; quality assuring provisions; and ensuring efficiency and effectiveness across teams. She has Level 7 qualifications in Special educational needs coordination and has completed the Postgraduate Award of Proficiency in Assessment for Access Arrangements. In addition, she has completed the National professional qualification in senior leadership as part of her previous role. Claudia is a passionate advocate for equality in the workplace and in schools. She is also a mother of 2 young children one in year 4 at Tewin Cowper and one who will start in September. Claudia enjoys sport and socialising in her spare time as well as working on a home renovation in the village.
