Miss Andrea Sharkey - Headteacher
I have just begun my journey as Headteacher (September 2023) at Tewin Cowper, having taught previously for 12 years in various settings. I love to put the needs of the children at the centre of every decision and I am keen to continue the journey of the previous head. Since I have been offered my post, the governors have provided invaluable support. I know that they will provide challenge to both myself and the staff team, to ensure that we are always exploring ways of making our provision the best we can and inspiring and motivating children to develop a love of learning and achieve their best in every dimension of their lives. I am committed to leading a church school where I feel strongly that we must equip each child to be a valued member of the world through drawing on our Christian values.
I have a love of learning and enjoy challenges. I have recently become a certified scuba diver and I am studying to further my own qualifications in the leadership of education.
