Professional Netball Player Visit - Kadeen Corbin
PROFESSIONAL ENGLAND NETBALL AND COMMONWEALTH GOLD WINNING KADEEN CORBIN, CAME TO VISIT TEWIN COWPER SCHOOL
Kadeen Corbin, who plays for England Roses and Saracens Mavericks netball team, came to visit us at Tewin Cowper School to inspire us to follow our dreams and how to overcome barriers that get in our way!
We all watched some videos of her in class so we could see her perform at elite level, and gathered some questions that we wanted to ask her.
We had an assembly together as a whole school, then in smaller groups we got to ask her some questions. We also got to hold her Commonwealth Gold Medal!
Finally, the netball club got to ask her some more technical questions directed to netball.
Thank you so much to Kadeen for coming in who has inspired a new generation of netball players - we have seen an increase in participation in our netball club already and the children are quoting your top tips such as "imagine the netball post as a witches hat" to help them score!
