Before my daughter started at Tewin Cowper School I had no idea I would become a parent governor of a school. But seeing the care and thoughtfulness of the school and staff I felt I wanted to get involved and try and add my skills to the school through being a governor. I have ten years’ experience working as a maths and physics teacher at secondary schools, working as the A-level maths lead and deputy head of maths. I hope to use these skills I developed as a teacher in a different capacity and will work hard to ensure Tewin maintains its high standards and continues to grow to be the best school it can be.
